well, while the others were off saving the world again, I went home to visit my family and I managed to see the babies' first swim. So cute! Merbabies are too cute for words ♥ I'll see if I can snag a picture of one the next time I go home :D

My family is fine (even if I still think they're idiots - well, the male aspect). John hooked up with a fairy name Ileana (which makes for an interesting time when I visit since the witch/fairy dynamic is so confusing back home) but she's cool with his appearence which makes her totally cool in my book. She's different, in a good way. John said that she can't see with her eyes, but can see with her heart so she can't see what a, quoting him, "a freak he is" - of course, that usually ends up with her smacking him upside the head, reminding him that while she's blind, she can still hear.

I'd get sick just as one of the biggest events of the season goes on back home. The new merbabies are going for their first swim - it's something my people look forward to each year since this shows what their merform is going to look like.

Well, my prince did come ::giggles:: Howell and I had our first date this weekend. God, he's a gentleman like Varan. We sure did luck out, m'dear

He doesn't care I'm a mermaid and he's thrilled I don't care about his bird form. And girl, ::impish giggles:: I totally am stealing feathers so you can feel them. They're so soft. Oh, ::impish giggles:: he did say he's willing for you to play with his hair dye since you seem to have good taste

so, as my cousin said in my LJ, note to self, get a better lock on the system I had a date with Howell recently. OMG, the man is a perfect gentleman. And yes, I did see his feathers - he ended up having to fight a bit since some asshat tried to cop a feel while I was walking with him and Howell took serious offense that someone would do something to a complete stranger. Never had a guy get so protective about me like that. Kinda nice ::giggles::

Well, apparently if Howell exerts himself using his magic, he starts to show feathers (he said it was something of a curse that he and Saladin were working to try and break. Apparently his last teacher hexed him when he told her he was leaving to study uner Saladin). It was an impulse really, but I just had to touch the feathers to see if they were real. They are, and they're really soft too. And ::giggles:: he turned such a brilliant shade of crimson when I touched them.

So ladies, Howell's officially off the market. He's mine. ♥ ♥ ♥

only because last night she was with her new boyfriend and they didn't get in until the wee hours of the morning. How do I know this? She fuckin' called me at 1 am to let me know that she and Howell had a wonderful date.

I just found out that my darling cousin, John, hacked into my LJ so he now has access to it so he can post when he feels like it. Mainly, he claims, to remind me not to forget my family at home.

One of the big circuses is finally coming to Magix and they've got a brand new attraction in their sideshow. Anyone want to come with? I haven't been to a circus in a long time. Shills, Tanith?
